To avoid conflicts of interest and reassure full compliance with our clients’ interests, assignments are done on a consultancy fee basis, never on commission. We are consultants, not dealers. We prefer long term relationships more than one-time deals.
Sometimes, and if the nature of our task specifically represents a goal to reach or ends up with a major investment transaction desired by our client, a reasonable success fee may be agreed between the client and INTELCORP AFCI. This will only be accepted if such fee does not interfere with our neutral position as advisers. For instance, a success fee is out of question in an intelligence mission where the output can be to not invest.
Given the essence of responsibility, trust and confidence on the consultancy services provided, when the nature of the services provided allows it, our clients generally request that we continue the relationship established, either monitoring, following-up or reporting on the evolution of the investments done. In such cases, it may even happen we either enter the Company’s Board or, eventually, the Advisory or Supervisory Board as representatives of our clients.
